ABout me

The Thomasville History Geocaching Series was created by Louis Carter (that's me), a local high school student at the time, beginning in February of 2019. After finding my first geocache in 2013, I came back to the hobby on and off for a few years. During my senior year, I decided to create a series of geocaches hidden around town to help tell the story of Thomasville's history. Since then, the series has been a great success and many visitors have said that they came to Thomasville just for the geocaches and really enjoyed our beautiful small town. Geocachers from Germany, New Zealand, California, Michigan, and many other hometowns have come to Thomasville to complete the series. I hope you have a great time learning more about Thomasville and her storied history!
