The Thomasville History Geocaching Series takes players to sixteen of Thomasville's most significant historic sites, from The Big Oak to The Piney Woods Hotel. At each location, players use the Geocaching App or a GPS device to find a container, or geocache, hidden in plain sight around Thomasville. On the app and Geocaching.com, each cache has a description of the significance of the site, historic photos, and other relevant information.
